Clutch Rattle
Having a drive round this afternoon and heard a rattle when I put my foot all the way down on the clutch peddle (release peddle and all ok). It was adjusted a couple of weeks ago because it was very 'fierce' when I first got it and it has been behaving ok. It all works properly, pulls away, stalls in low gear with handbrake on.
Help/ideas appreciated

If it is continuous (for as long as the pedal is held down), then it's likely to be a worn thrust bearing starting to rumble. You can leave it for a while (few months), but it will need changing eventually.
You should probably fit a new clutch while you're at it, especially as a clutch becomes more fierce (jerky, all-or-nothing power take-up) as it gets more worn, and yours needed adjusting for this recently.

Yes! It's the same noise for as long as the pedal is down……yr right, when I first got the car the clutch was really 'fierce' then when it was adjusted it was quite normal…..but for only a couple of weeks….while its in the garage I will get him to change the whole thing……tks for advice and help Type.
