clutch pedal sticking

Hi all,

I sat today in my wondermobile and pressed the clutch down and it stayed there!

I panicked and pressed again and it popped up.

Later in the eveing the same thing happened so can anyone please advise as to what is happening?

Follow the cable from the pedal through the bulkhead, from the engine side, check where it comes through the bulkhead, it's probably rusty. otherwise check the whole length. PeAcE!

Had a similar problem myself, then the plastic clip connecting the cable to the pedal snapped. is the pedal stiff to depress? Check that the cable hasn't cut into the gearbox housing at the adjustment end in the engine bay.
