clutch cable help
the clutch cable i have seems to long and im not sure if its the right one for the car as it never had one fitted when i bought it. Car is a 1.5 carb with a 020 box fitted
Its got the adjuster at gearbox end, large oval shaped rubber grommet and plastic connector..The hole in the bulkead does not match the large rubber item and looks like it needs a smaller strurdier grommet..
The pedal has no return spring or anything, and has a hook and cut out for a pin….i just hooked the connector on the top of the pedal and connected it at gearbox end and its just too long even with all adjustment.
Am i right in thinking i just need a shorter cable
