Car pulling to the right.

So took into garage where they tested it on a machine which told them that it's out all over the place.
They couldn't make the adjustments and advised me to take to a VW garage as they are the only ones who can fix it.
Has anyone else come across this problem before? Can VW be the only people to fix it?

 :dontknow:

no …. is anything broken ? or knocked a kirb ect ?  what were they testing ?  how good are they ?
i'd guess they tried tracking which is adjusted from one side , take it to somewhere that does laser tracking , get camber checked too.    have a look around tyre sellers usually have these machines .

Nothing broken and hasn't been kirbed either. It was a franchise garage F1 tyres and exhausts or something like that. They packed plates on the wheels and tested it on a computer. They showed my the results on a monitor. He pointed out the red areas that show up as miss-alignment. Said he couldn't make the adjustments with the limited technology of the equipment they have. Went on to say i need to go go to a vdub dealer to correct the problem.  :dontknow:

Does anyone know a good garage to correct this in the Kent area?

steering is adjusted from one side and have known people trying to adjust both sides, most places will be able to do the tracking/ camber .  wouldn't have thought only vw .  how bad is it pulling ?  any work done previous to it pulling ?

most late rivages have adjuster on both sides, mine anyway. one of the most common causes of pulling is tyres. worth just swapping front wheels side to side, see if it pulls the other way
