car has decided it likes going right?

hey. ive got an h-reg golf cabrio and lately if i go over a bumpy road the steering shakes and the car pulls to the right. and ive just noticed that it pulls to the right when i put my foot down quite fast. is this a bush?any ideas?has anyone else had the same problem? many thanks. :dontknow:

First port of call would be to check out your wheel alignment - if youve recently bashed a curb or speed bump it could put the wheels out of alignment. Seems obvious i know, but worth checking out.

thanx for that mileyman but ive had the alignment checked and they said that its all ok. any more ideas?

Tyre pressures, uneven camber, worn track rod ends, loose or broken steering rack mounts but it sounds more like poor alignment.

thanx for that hilux, ive just found that the steering rack mounting point is starting to break away and theres movement when steering.
