Can somebody recomend a nice suspension

Hi all, im looking at replacing all the bushes, links, bearings, rack etc etc on my golf and i am also going to change the shocks and springs while im at it. at the moment its got lowered springs and standard shocks. the steering is very heavy and it knocks, bangs and drives like a pig as it bounces down the road. so what im after is a set up that offers a decent quality ride that wont wreck my back. i have seen a jamex sportline kit with a 30mm drop and wondered if anybody had one or could recommend a set up that rides nicley, or should i be looking at standard kit if so any recommendation on makes. cheers john.
