can polo gt driveshafts be used?

hi there,
 I'm about to drop a polo gt lump in my small cc series1.
Can i use the polo driveshafts with this conversion as i have kind of promised the golf driveshafts to someone else without thinking about the implications.

cheers

doubt it as the driveshafts on the polo go through the bottom of the suspension arm.

will no doubt be totally the wrong length too
