Camber after lowering?

Got some lowering springs to put on.

Do I need to have any adjustment to the camber after fitting? Or is simply setting back to the previous setttting ( as per marked during dismanteling ) ok?

Is there a better setting for a 30mm drop?

Strictly speaking you will need the camber to be checked as you have taken off the strut. If you mark up the position of the top eccentric bolt/washer you may be OK, but it wont be precise. I find running around -0.5 deg camber works best for me and helps turn in. I think this is at the maximum negative tolerance recommended by VW.
