Caddy Hubs - GTI Hubs

My 13" wheels stick out further on the front than the back because im using spacers to clear calipers. I will be widening the arches anyway but ideally dont want to space the rears accordingly.

Are there any differences in the Caddy Hubs / Carriers than the GTI ones?
If i fitted GTI ones would it bring the Calipers further in towards the car so i could lose the spacers?

are the caliper carriers the same aswell do u know? ive seen a few Mk1's running 13's and their wheels dont stick out as far as mine
