cabrio rear axle

Hi all i've got a 1990 cabrio and when i follow my car down the road it looks like its crabing from the back, tyre wear is find! the wheel is very close to the drivers side arch about half inch at the top and the passgner side is more than ainch between the wheel and arch, when i put put it on the pit at work it seems that the drivers wheel is a inch closer to the pit wall!! any ideas????

i thought about seeing if i could move the whole rear axle towards the pass side to get equal gap between the wheel and arches, would that make it better or worse????

is there different axles for different mk1 golfs???

it is really annoying me and i hate what people must think when they are following me down the road

thanks in advance Chris

any mk1 golf, cabby or rocco axle will fit if it turns out yours is bent. there isnt really any adjustment on them so id say yeah it probably needs changing!

if the one you get doesn't have a roll bar you can swap it over, you may need to drill a couple holes near the middle for the mounts but this will be self-explanatory when you compare to the old beam
