Brake pads EBC V Ferrodo ?

  I was going to replace my brake pads when I do a service in the next couple of weeks,  can anyone recommend good brake pads, I have the standard discs.
     We've all seen the video with Tim styles , he recommends ferrodo pads and black diamond discs.    I used pagid fast road pads last time , there ok and a bonus that they do'nt create much brake dust, but i'm not covinced there the best .I've heard EBC green stuff are the ones ?.

I personally use ferrodo pads with standard discs  and i find they perform well.    Well aswell as mk1 braking goes 8O

i've been using ferodo ds2500 pads on my Gti since i got it on the road nearly a year and a half ago.

if i'm honest they are quite hard on standard discs but the braking is pretty good for just a pad upgrade my discs were grooved by my father just to help clear the crap off the pads but that's all thats been done to mine
