bit too bumpy 4 me

when i bought my cabby it had been lowered with some crappy looking red springs, and it's too hard, i like the handling but the bloody cd jumps when i go over a small pothole. these arn't like the eibach ones cos the coil gaps are the same top to bottom.
it's on standard dampers (they have a vw sticker on anyway?)

whats the best way to go, cant really warrent 500+ for avo coilovers but have seen some cheap coilovers on ebay for 200-300, at that price will they be crap as well?

if i swicth to eibach will it give me the desired affect?

i want best of both worlds like every1 but u can't so will settle somewhere in the middle any ideas, damper change is also an option.
cheers

Koni Adjustables with eibach 40mm springs are a good combo 200-300 quid

why would you want to put AVO`s on it anyway? they are an awfull piece of kit, far too harsh and poor reliability, as above eibach/koni combo is very good, or failing that a set of FK highsport or Konigsport Coilovers is the way to go if you have the ?

i been having a look at the above, and thinking of eibach sportline over their pro-kit as they dont lower as much. around ?150

as for the koni dampers would u go yellow or red?
http://www.tirerack.co…n/koni/specialvssport.jsp
thinking red at the mo,
these are around ?220 for all 4. although these aren't on car adjustable so don't know really, the yellows come in a short format as well? HELP PLEASE!!
will i need some bump stops as well with this set up?

at nearly ?400 with delivery costs is it worth it or are coilovers the way to go?

all input appreciated as i dont want to shell out n then find it's not what i'm looking for
cheers

i have just put on eibach pro 40mm drop, nice height for daily use i think havent drove the car yet, apart to turn it round but seem firmer than standard but not at all solid!! seem good to me

i just put them on standard struts for now though. about ?120 deliverd i think not too bad but mines got a roof so may be slightly more for a cabby!

if your looking for a good but pretty cheap set of coilovers go for the supersport ones from venom motorsport at 300 quid ive been on them a year now and id rate them.

Yes

Try GSF ……Boge gas kit with lowering springs. Smooth , lower and very good price or if you can afford more Koni's new kit part number 1130-2903 ……

Coilovers are expensive and or cheap:mrgreen: and give a harsh ride .Full stop.
