Avo coilover problem

Right
Fitted some avo coilovers last month on my mk1 golf and on the fronts when you push down on the front you can see the nut/threaded part coming up , ive fitted coilovers on a few cars and never had this problem ? Have i not put a spacer or something in?
Any help would be great
