automatic engine to manual

hi there every one back in the uk iv just bought a automatic vw mk1 the only thing that i need form it is the engine that i wont  fit into my manual vw but not done it before is it easy and what problems am i likely to come a cross.thanks for your help baz in australia perth  :wink:
