Audi s2 2 pot brakes?
Hi has anyone fitted some audi s2 front calipers to a mk1 i know they take 280mm discs which are the same as the mk3 vr6 and gti ones. but before i go mad and splash out loads of cash on some i want to know if anyone has done this type of conversion.
They will be going on the sportline cabby which has 15" bbs alloys.
i understand i will need some brackets to get the caliper further from the hub so have taken this into consideration.

in theory they should fit with the 280mm conversion brackets sold by the caddy forum dudes, but I'm not 100% sure if this will work or not. its debatable if the extra braking force is worth the increase in unsprung weight though, especially in a light car such as the MK1 whwere 280 calipers n carriers have been prooven to work just fine
