Hi All
off to get tracking/alignment CO emision…next week (have got a few bob saved..) also going to get new 'shoes' for the corners….
Had a look on 'Mytyres' and fancy the Avon zv3….wots an asymmetric tyre?? And is it very painful!! As always any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
    I'm 99% sure that asymetric means that the tyres can be put on either way, unlike Goodyear F1's which are directional and thus have to be 'faced' in the correct direction.

I'm sure if i'm wrong someone will shoot me down in flames! :tlc:

I think "asymetric" refers to the tread pattern - there is an outside and an inside. That is, the pattern on the outside half of the tread is different from the tread on the inside half.
