another one on brake compensator!

:roll:  sorry but iv trawled the site to find the answer to my question, but can't find it. the rear brake compensator (passenger side with spring attached to axle), how much is the piston suppose to move? as i stripped it and tried to move it by hand, but it didn't budge. so i got a g clamp on it and it moved a touch, but didn't spring back. so now i think iv busted it? any ideas on this peeps?

pretty sure its busted, just like mine was! i tried to remove the circlip to strip it down, but nothing really happened.  in the end i made a bracket to fit a mk2 item
