align the clutch?

Who sells the tool or does anybody know of a tried and tested method of aligning the clutch?

I have the correct tool because it was included in a clutch kit I bought a while ago; but others have had success with measuring it while tightening the bolts; or making a suitable tool from wood.

I did this recently, I used a set of vernier calipers to measure the clearance around the plate as I was tightening it. Box went on first time, no bother.
That said, my engine was out of the car at the time which probably contributed a lot to how easy it was.
