Air ride suspension

I work in a mercedes garage where air suspension is a common addition to the more high end vehicles and they seem to be good for comfort and cornering. As air suspension is becoming more common in modern cars, I was wondering if anyone knows what a Mk1 drives like on bags?

Hi I had air put on my golf last year.  It drives and handles good i would say its like driving a car on uprated springs.
