Advice on brake upgrade

Hi chaps.New Golf owner here, so be patient. Searched for brake advice, but was a touch confusing, so here goes. I have a 78mk1 GLD. I have just acquired a mk2 booster and MC, also mk1 GTI 239mm vented discs and mk2 GTI calipers with no carriers. What carriers do i need to bolt everything up? Any of you knowledgeable people out there see any problems with what i've listed. Many thanks in advance, Dave.

All looks good so far. You also need GTi pads as they are thinner than solid disc variant - carriers on yours may actually fit type mkII calipers, try them & see first, if not then later year 82/83 Mk1 carriers required.

also cabrio, scirocco and MK3 polo have the carriers you need
