accerator cable to peddle connection

Hello all,


Just been fixing my brake light switch and I noticed that the accearator cable has been botched up to the peddle with cable ties.

It looks like its missing some sort of circular insert which fits into the top of pedals arm for the cable to connect into?

Just wondered if anyone could shed some light?

I think you can use the mk2 accelerator pedal rubber.  Part number is 191 721 559, sure i've used this before and it's under a quid from the dealers.

can still get these a vw

about £5 bit expensive but it makes a massive difference
