Near crash

Hi All
I was driving my golf today and a of a sudden It seemed as if I lost power.. The accelerator pedal went limp and the car just slowed down to a stand still..
Looked at the pedal and noticed the grommet or bush had popped out…
I pushed it back in and it worked..
Where will I get a new bush or do I need a complete new cable??
Thanks guys in anticipation..

You can buy them from VW mate I think still. The MK2 one fits as well and is cheaper :)

go to any GSF and ask for a mk2 pedal grommet/bung. they are like £1.18 + vat or something, fits straight in. I only changed mine few weeks ago

Just changed both of my cars grommets, got a real one which are foam like but I prefer the rubber one from GSF.
