not much of a helpful thread just a discussion as im quite stuck to, i spent a fortune on some bbs splits a few year ago so mine kinda need to go on lol! from what i gathered you have a few options, flair the arches out to get them under as just rolling wont do it,or leave them hanging past depending what offset they are and dont go stupidly out,and the other option from what i read about the caddy was cut the rear axel down to get the rears in more

I'm surprised its not been done before, since its a really simple thing to do. All you have to do is remove a wheel, then use a ruler to measure the available width (ie to the suspension strut) at several points from hub up to the wheelarch, and the relative location of the hub and the wheelarch. From this you could draw a 'template' of what width, offset and amount of lowering is possible.

I accept that there will be variation between standard struts and coilovers; and different makes/models of coilover.

May have a measure then but the wheels do look WIDE lol especially with tyres on

The car I just bought has 9j rears. Then again it was made by TUK customs who cut the beam to get them to fit so. If you fancy vutting the beam down it can be done.
