5 speed gear box conversion on a 1.3

 hello all this is my first post liking the chat the site looks fab
 ,does any one know what polo 5 speeder wider ratio box will fit my 1.3 golf and what mods do I have to do to make it happin. the wee engine revs its nuts off on the motorways and on quick A roads and also the extra fuel it burns in the prosess ££££ ??? . I know you need the gear box mount off the polo(mk2? or mk3? :dontknow: ) and has some linkage issues has any of you done the mod thanks everyone

All of them can be made to fit. Easiest is the 8P from a standard mk3 Polo. You just need a modified mount. Use the Polo linkage end. It's less sloppy than the Golf one.
