256mm brakes??

I have a 1.3 driver and want some 256 brakes as i believe these fit under 14's?? if not still want them lol so what car do i need to get them from/ and what do i require for the conversion

Theres a cool mod you can do using Rover 218 260mm disks and Volvo 238 estate 4 pot calipers

if you like I could find the link, believe it ws done in a cr mag in the 90s, someoen on the rocco forum has just done it, and I'm just doing it!

…referbished calipers £70 a side, disks £50 a set though.

…I'm fitting them under a set of 15"s wheels though, and so has the last guy, don't know if they'll fit under 14"s

the volvo jobs will not fit under 14"wheels. it's rover gti discs. needs spacers machining for these and piping fabricated. can have clearance issues with the inside of the wheels hitting the calipers. needs checking.

256mm brakes with the rocco 16v/audi caliper and carrier setup fits just fine and hunky under 14" wheels

I use the Vauxhall conversion off here brilliant easy to do all fits fine and cheap .
