16v master cylinder size?
quick question for you guys on here.
how do you tell a 22mm m/c from a non 22mm and what part of it is 22mm?
also what other m/c fit on a 16v servo anything bigger that 22mm?
i ask as i have just put G60 front brakes 16v rear brakes all running black diamond discs with goodridge braided hoses all round and have discovered the m/c is in need of changing.
any advice is very welcome
thanks

The 22mm is the bore size, think there are bigger ones but cannot be more specific, but too large is not good.

Dont have a cylinder to hand but i think you can measure from the back of one , where its assembled. too large a cylinder and you just cannot press it hard enough although you would have very little movement.

Usually the bore size is stamped or cast into the outside of the cylinder. So long as you select one from ECP that is for a 16v post 1989 they're all the same bore just different makes, make sure it's 1989 or later though as the earlier ones had the smaller 20mm master cylinder.

The T4 transporter has a 23.81mm master cylinder that you can use on a 16v servo
