14" wheels with stretched tyres?

Hi

recently got my second Mk1 and i think its about time i lowered it but think at the same time i may aswell change tyres to see how low i can go.

I like the wheels it has but think the tyres are a little too fat so can i have stretched tyres on it? if so what would my car look like? can anyone show me a link to a MK1 with 14's and stretched tyres and lowered lol

You could be fighting a loosing battle dude. I'm not aware of  many people running streched 14" tyres.

ok mate, so is the best thing to do just sell the wheels or just get lower profile tyres and then slam it?
