13 inch alloys won't fit on 1.6 calipers

Hello everyone I need your advice on a problem!

I have bought a very nice set of mirror polished 13 inch pepper pots for my 1.6 golf non GTI.
It slipped my mind to think they won't fit on the front…. They don't because the calipers are to big.
My question is if I change the brake set up to a 1.3L smaller caliper will they fit?
Has anyone else delt with this problem?

is this running the later carriers with the big hoop of metal over the front of the calipers? if so fit earlier mk1 1.5-1.8 vwii carriers, these dont have the hoop and so give more clearance
