Favourite wheels help plus pics    

Ok I'm a long way off buying wheels yet but would like to get an idea of what suits the mk1 best and what size so post pics of your favourite wheels and sizes if you know them would be great to get other peoples opinion

These are mine they are ATS cups 15" 7j been powder coated chrome.

wouldnt mind some of these tho : think there schmidt th lines

I have tried 13",14" and 15" the best comfort ride is definately the 175/70x13",the 185/60x14" are an easy to find and cheap to buy tyre(Mk2 wheels ),185/55x15"(G60 steels) then handle the best but they are harsh on the ride quality,they look good as well,all depends on how you want your car really :dontknow:

I got a 92 Cabrio 1.8 with 195/50/15 6J & unknown offset on mine at the moment. I want to change them because the offset is not the right one.

What would be a correct size tyre I could use on the car? I like the 'big' look so was wondering if 15 in would still be ok or be better to go with a 14 in?

185/60 14 tyres on et38 offset rims are the standard as far as I know.
185/55 15 is standard 15"
If you change the overall tyre diameter you will change the gearing and your speedo could be out.
6j is rim width.
et is the offset

Deep dish mini lites are mine (any colour) but white with polished rims looks great

Size 13" X 7" nice and wide.
