Wr***am meet #2....7/10/07 & drive to Horseshoe pass

Right a trek to the horseshoe pass from Chester or wrexham. Either next sunday or the sunday after before the weather gets too bad!

well i dont think J or Paulc wanna come as its probably a bit far for them so what about meeting up in wr***am and then treking up to the horseshoe?

I'm still a maybe. I only have the cabby on the road, after all, and I have just spent 1? weeks driving round in it after my daily driver was off the road. So I don't want to build up the mileage (and go over my mileage allowance for insurance) too much. I think you should stick to the Chester meeting place, even though its poor parking opportunities, its a good landmark and easy to find for everyone.

I'm still a maybe because my weekends are the only time I have off, when its light enough to get stuck in on the cars, and I have a lot to do….. But I want to see the new meets flourish, so I'll give my support as needs be.

I dont mind Chester or Wrexham to meet up, both are a nice run out to loosen the old girl up before the little trek to Horseshoe Pass    If Paul or Jay are coming then I'd be happy to meet at Chester  and let you locals lead the way  :mrgreen: , though you are right Wrexham is a more sensible meeting point for Horsehoe Pass as you have to go past it to get there. I'm sure Jay and Paul will hopefully read the thread, we know the date, we know the final destination, we just want  their opinions on meeting at Chester or Wrexham for this one  :dontknow: , either one is good for me.

*edit*  Just read Paul's reply while writing my message (takes me forever to think up a message that long   ), I'm happy to meet at Chester and then run out to Horseshoe afterwards  :wink: .
