West Sussex Car Show August 20th

Hi Andy

Iam part of a team who organise a car show once a year that is the same day as our village festival. We are contacting alot of owners clubs to see if they could advertise the event and come down to join in on the day. Below is an advert for the event as well as a link to the poster for the event, would be great if you could bring some cars and people down.

Rod, Mod, and Classic, Custom Car Show.

Ashington is only a small village so you would expect Ashington Festival to be nothing more than a group of country bumkins wearing oversized green raincoats, a large pair of rubber wellies, drinking scrumpy and getting together to play skittles, shouting Ooo!…Arrr!… as they wolf whistle at a few dogs running after sheep and your thoughts would be justified but……. totally wrong

On Festival Day Ashington comes alive becoming host to not a few but 1,000's of people that travel from miles around to enjoy what goes on, while each year it seems to grow bigger than ever as it caters for every one's interests.

We have a larger space to fill this year so anyone that has a motor to show is welcome…

No judging… No prizes…. No entry fee….

NEW TO THE SHOW…… and not stated on the poster…

a company called MPH that run dragster bikes at Santa Pod
and they will now be bringing a selection of drag bikes and some cars to the show.
