taunton meet , when ?

dunno but myself and a friend run the somerset cgti meets from the same place as the mk1 meets . so we could combine the 2 ? saves to trips !

We have not had any meetings at Taunton for a while,a few of the regulars have sold their mk1s,mine is still in pieces.

We did have some good meets with a good number of mk1s,but it seems hard to get a meeting organised these days as no one can agree on location.

A combined meet with club gti sounds a good idea, I would be up for that.

Hello if you fancy a ride out on sunday 27th april there is a meet at smokey joe's transport cafe on the old A30 just 30 minutes after Bodmin before Redruth,i know its a bit of a trek for people in north southwest area but its a day out and the hungrymans breakfest's are all you will need to eat all day they come highly recommended.

Whats happened to the old SWM crew?  I've been busy working on my site, and lots of other things as late, and sad to say i havent spent much time on this site.  However, i would like to attend a meet in the coming months.  

My mk1 has been in the bodyshop the l;ast few months.  Gotta owe me a lot of money now, so ive decided to keep her for a while longer.  Is Ross still organising the SWM?

Ok, how about this.  There is a CGTI meet at the Harvester, just off Junction 25 M5.  It is in the evening however, at 7pm.  There will be a turn out from the MK2 Golf Owners' Club also (im Oakgreen16V on there).  I'm going to tax the Mk1 and bring it down.  It will be my first meet in almost 12 months.

Please let me know if this is a good idea, or going it alone early afternoon.
