Hi all and thanks for coming again,

Sadly tho we didnt beat the NWMASSIVE, roads were too icy for some to bring there beloved mk1 out,

Never the less still nice to catch up with everyone again and good to see some new faces,

So yes Kins your still the champ :notworthy:  kills me to say that :evil:

So i will have to wait for the title again :tlc:

NWM had a trip out to visit another meet today in Preston Brook near Runcorn and recruited another cabby for The Cause!!

As Dano said the NWM had a day trip out to Runcorn and we picked up a new recruit! We had 4 mk1's cruising down the motorway and you should have seen the logistics involved….. my magical entrance onto the motorway was perfectly timed to join the back of the convoy! Uncanny  8)  

Icicles….pah…. well when I left my car was gleaming black and when I got home (150 mile round trip!) it was mucky white! 8O

Yeah my car's mucky too - and I aint looking forwards to having to go out tonight and wash it, in the dark! It was worth the trip (to the Preston Brook thing) just to touch base with the rest of the VW lot. Someone was promoting the ??Ultimate Dubs?? show in Birmingham, in March. Now here's a question - they have club stands for 4 or 5 cars. Can we go as Golf Mk1 NW, Golf Mk1 SW, etc etc. There's 14 regions, right? That's 56 cars!!!!!!! LOL

I missed it - totally hung over, turned up at 3!!!!
Will be at the next one as i'm fitting a new engine to the mk1 this w/end!
Good turn out, put my car to shame but i'll bring it to make up the numbers!!

Maybe we should split the NWM into a couple of splinter groups to give the SWM a chance of winning one! Naaaaaaaaaaaaa! Maybe we should just keep drubbing them into the ground! Feels soooooo gooooood!

I dont think were having a Jan meet, as jon-boy is snow boarding and im in OZ, so we are having a top record breaking meet in feb,

I'll have to take another photo (not with my camera) when they're on the car! I think i'll take them off every time I go north of Bristol :mrgreen:
