Stand at Bromley Motoring Pageant

As per the above title I am seeing if anyone is interested in attending this with a gaggle of mk1s?

The date for the 2012 Bromley Pageant of Motoring is Sunday June 10th. The venue is Norman Park in Bromley, Kent.

Depending on numbers there are two options either:

'Special Club Display' that allows up to 15 cars to be displayed together on a suitably sized plot and needs to be requested as soon as possible. Space is very limited and every year they are over subscribed and have to let clubs down, so would need to get this back fast. Tickets would cost £5 per car including one passenger for a minimum of 10 cars (£50) will be posted 3 weeks before the show. This option might be a little too late and as such might be an idea to organise next year..

'3-Car Club Display' that allows a maximum of 3-cars to be displayed together on a suitably sized plot, again they request this is submitted as soon as possible but I would have thought it is a more realistic option. Again tickets are £5 including a passenger with a minimum 3 cars (£15)

Finally theres is an option for a single car parking at 'discounted entry price' which if I get no interest in the other options will apply for so you can at least pop down to see my car if your in the area!

Same here - gutted as half way through sorting mine out but only 5 minutes away so I'll be popping down. It will be nice to see some mk1's down there

Unfortunately I missed the deadline to submit the car and only ever got Fez interested so would have ended up paying for three spaces with only two cars.. Anyway might be an idea to start thinking about next year now there are people in the area who are interested.

Also anyone local may be interested in heading up to Prept on the last Wednesday of the month at Brands where its £2 entry for any German car with a pretty laid back and friendly atmosphere.

well up for next yr tho, my mk1 will be a year less shiny, but still good enough I'm sure - looks like the kind of show that'd appreciate standard over modded also

Hey man, so sorry i didnt speak up sooner id definitely be up for this next year though. Plus if we get enough interest we could get the bigger pitch

I should be going Prept if the mk1 behaves, if not ill be down in the mk4 hopefully. If people are interested in Prept i think we should get a thread started on this
