were has all the south west dubbers gone ay chance of a meet in devon/cornwall soon

i would be up for a meet, just got to sort mot and tax

there must be more than 2 people on here from the south west come on peeps

depends where it is. if its on a weekend im willing to travel a bit (im from near bournemouth).

Yep tiz quiet leading into winter everyones got the blues seeing as summer never arrived,i not had my GTI out since CVWOC jamboree back in august   ,have been very busy converting my T4 to 1.9TDI 1Z engine from a golf mk3  
Anyway what about meeting up your way ade? Or maybe Jamaica inn? Somewhere where we can get out of the cold weather and probably the rain!Whats the car park like there? i aint been since i was a kid do they do a sunday lunch?

Nice to see you guys looking at getting a meet together.
If you need any help just give me a shout cant make it due to being the other side of the country

here is just a couple pointers to think about.

once you have decided on a venue and a date and time DO NOT Change it
you will always find that someone suddenly cant make it and wants to swap the day. if you do this it will fall apart.

Because you have a large area that folk will be coming from plan the meet for a weekend day pick something like a pub with a biggish car park.

its sometimes a good idea to plan a little ride out to another pub etc once everyone is there

Remember to take your camera and get some pics of the meet to post up here after the event just to cheese those who didnt go right off

Im not up for going to plymuff it's a congested chav poohole! no offence to the mk1 owners from there.You should take the opportunity to get out of the city.
Ade you started this idea,you need to take the reigns mate and make a decision about where and when or its goin to be xmas!lol! Although there is not much response on here.
