South Wales Region

as sebs has said there needs to be a south wales region, just like mixerman starting south west, at volkfest i met big normrivage,adrian,al-mk1, sebs was that you with the glass cleaner as polish,
there is also eyeletboy, blackcherry i have noticed on the forum,

i am Haydn alias taffygoat sitting in aberbargoed, eating grass on the coal tip, anyone out there all over south wales let me know and where you are, , i am retired and therefore could co-ordinate etc etc, then come up with some sort of programme.

if paul from denmans with the cabby is reading this get to joining with those friends as discussed with you there are quite a few cars in the rhymney valley

looked at member register and have pm 'd some names probably about 8 but will continue search, if we get up and running we can have some joint meets, such as volkfest west and wales

I'll come along to a few meets aslng as they're not too far away! I'm only in Hereford and I've been to a few Gloucester and Birmingham meets

As I said at volksfest mate I'm up for a meet anytime.

as a starter for 10 there is a vintage transport rally at the rhondda heritage park between pntypridd and porth if any one wants to meet let me know urgently as i will fill in form

received the 5 passes and it must be displayed to enter. times are 11am to 4pm but cars being displayed must be there by 10am.

don't forget this saturday for the rhondda heritage park meet, 9.15 am at makro car park nantgarw, cars must be set in place at 10am for 11am start, finishes at 4pm

Be good to set up an actual meet for mk1s for this region.  Mine isn't on the road at the moment but should be very soon.

well after calling a meet for 2nd oct at rhondda heritage park no one came along  :dontknow:  :dontknow:  :dontknow:  :dontknow:  :dontknow: why?????????

with one vw mk1 and a mixture of other cars very dissapointed
 so far i have got some 20 names around south wales from the members list, if you want a region let us know

however lets try again
meet at sarn services junction 36 m4 on sunday 7th november 2010 at 11am see how many turn up and decide where to go maybe sebs waterton pub??? not sure where it is.

As said doubted I would be able to make it.  A meet on the 7th sounds good though.  Gives plenty of time to get people aware.  From the 20 names you've got from the members list how many have replied to you?  Is Junction 36 central to the ones that have replied?  I'll say i'll be there as i can make arrangement around this date if need be.  Anyone else up for a meet on the 7th?  A different location could be used if you wanted i'm sure.

your the first to reply on forum, had response from zeus,
chose sarn services as its central to cardiff/swansea areas, i am going to pm the 20 or so on the list i have but i am sure there is more out there, the 20 comes from the members list and i am only up to page 22 out of 900.
