Plymouth Volksfest

Would any body be interested in attending Plymouth Volksfest next May?
Its a really good show.
Would be good to have a strong MK1 presence and promote the club in the Southwest.

i'm definitely up for it, went for the day last year and seemed a good show, only saw the VR6 owners and the aircooled crew there so would love to represent the mk1 club….

is a great weekend from friends reports so was going to attend 2010 anyway, all the more fun if some fellow mk1 owners are there too.

best i get some work done to gabby the cabby if she is going on show

its held over the last bank holiday weekend in may, (the same as run to the sun) but all the ****heads go to newquay so it is a real genuine good show, i know some of the local bands that play and they do rock it in the afternoon.

i'm definitely going, whether with the club or some mates, going to be sorting tickets out early feb so if your up for it get it sorted!!

i no what you mean about all the idiots that have made the run to the sun weekend not the same .. ive heard about plymouth last year from a friend but it was to late to go by then the muppet ha ha

i'll be there! i was at last years and can tell you all it was fantastic, proper laid back vibe some v.nice cars, beer, music and sun, yes real sunshine, no no trouble just lovely friendly people!! RTTS is dead, nowt but dick heads and wankers and thats just the organisers! i had a run in with them last year, and will never go there again! plymouth volkfest truly embodies everything that a car show should be. in fact im gotta get my old girl out of winter hibination and start prep, so see you all there

okay then guys, seems there are a few definites here, i'm up for going as a group, is it worth trying to get a mk1 owners club space?????

i thinking that if we can get 4/5 of us that would be a good showing, even if mine is a bit used daily and not concours!!!

i want to be getting my ticket pretty soon so i'll private message the above posters, and if anyone else fancies it, let us know!
