Outer West London (Laleham) meet.

There's a group of us ( 10ish ) who were formerly the (outer) west London branch of Capri Club international. We meet monthly in a nice pub in Laleham near Staines. We have decided to change the group to encourage new people to come along whatever type of old classic you have.
We all met up via the Capri magazine years ago but between us we have such a varied collection of old cars we can't really specify a marque, the reason I'm posting on here, is there's a couple of us in the group with Mk1 Golfs. Also some of us are into motorbikes (again of all ages/styles)

There's nothing formal or official about us, any petrolhead can come and join in.
We meet the 1st Monday of each month at the Three Horseshoes in Laleham. It's nice old pub with some decent ale and slightly expensive but very nice food. Theres a big carpark out the back that seems fairly safe.

The next meeting will be Monday 4th June, 8pm ish.

My cars are;
MK1 Golf GX, originalish, mint low miles.
Mk1 Ford Sierra 2.0i GLS, also original and very tidy.
Mk3 Ford Capri Laser, original appearance but with injected vulcan 2.1 motor.


I hope I'm safe here but not welcome would be any bespoilered/subwoofered/neoned/huge alloyed/hairdryer powered shopping trolleys like Corsas and Saxos. We'll just ridicule you and make you cry.

A clean Mk1 with a VR6 would be interesting to us…….

I think you know the kind of cars I mean. Anything that is eligable for Shed of the Week on Barryboys.co.uk…….. I have toones in all my cars but not so they can be heard half a mile away.
I was originally a Ford Fan but love my mk1 VW. It's totally different. Another bloke in our group has a MK1 GTi :mrgreen:
