Since NWM11's idea of meeting at the pub then cruising over to Southport McDonalds was such a hoot, I'd suggest we do more/less the same! How does Thursday evening, either 20th or 27th July, sound? There's loads of shows now its summertime but obviously a weekday evening isn't going to clash with anything.

Same times as before? Meet at the Wiggin Tree, Parbold Hill (A5209, a couple of miles off J27 of M6) at 7pm, to leave at 7:30pm and cruise to Southport?

I found it totaly pointless the wat me and my sister drove up there from southport :?  to stop the car get a photo and then after 5 mins jump back k in the car to rush back to southport i wasnt evan a nice leasurly cruise :cry:

I will wait at the Plaza!!!

(P.s. I am a student and i dont have money and i lost 1/2 tank of fuel from that one trip) not a happy bunny :evil:

Chrissi, you'll have to do more washing up and ironing to earn your pocket money!!!   Fill your tank and get out or I'll have to pick you up again. (now in Hesketh Bank so at least its closer)

Without looking at my calander, the 27th looks good for me. Having done Southport, how about going somewhere else? Trough Of Bowland is nice and scenic… if not a little out of the way from Cheshire or Manchester areas. Alternatively Blackpool.. I'm determined to get on the fair rides!!!

I don't mind, so long as its not too far away. I'm probably the furthest travelling person these days????

If we do go to the fair i need someone to stay with me because im a big winp when it comes to rollacoasters hee hee!!!

Oh and i will do washing up but i dont get paid for it  :cry: I will never get money and no one will give me a job because i am in a college course in september so they all say there is no point if you will be leaving soon  :cry:  I cant win I think i will start a car wash haha

either date is fine with me, but please not blackpool. Coming from J18 cheshire is an awful slog back from there

I've updated our regional page to give info for NWM12. Without any firm suggestions for an alternative venue, I've stuck the details on as the same place in Southport as last time. I know the food aint up to much but McDonalds seemed a pretty reasonable place to munch on a cheeseburger and chat.

Hopefully (without putting a curse on it) this will be the debut meet for my rejuvinated GTI, and also its the last meet before Gaydon so we can plan in secret how we are going to totally dominate the annual show!!!

Paul, Fordyx and Crazycar, I presume you all come up the M6 from Cheshire?  

Where would you join it cos we could all have a mini convoy up to Wiggin Tree for the big convoy? :dontknow:

I join from M56 (dunno which jct.)

If I come from work, it will be from Chester Business Park, then onto the A55 –> M53, then M56, then M6 up north. If its from home, I live around 4 miles from the end of the M56 so I get onto that and then join the M6.

Hows about joining at M56 / A49 Junction - the junction with the pub that I can never remember the name off, then we can all cruze down 56 then onto M6... just a thought

why dont we have a rolling road day some time down at padihams mini sport aka power zone would be a good meet only down m65 neer burnley

could be cheep as well if you want ill have a word with rob the man who runs it for discount prices on groups
