NWM Christmas Meet

People,

We are having a pre Christmas get together on Sunday 14th December 2008.

It would be great to see as many people as possible there as Andy and I will have some news for a forthcoming event that we have planned for the New Year.

If you want to be among the first to know what we're up to, get along to the pub for a quick drink and we'll tell all then  :wink:

Is there a set time or is it turn up when you feel like it? :dontknow:  

It starts at 7pm (ish) and ends when you want to go!

Stay as long as you wish. The evenings are really more about meeting people and having a chat rather than looking round the cars. (Its December and cold and dark remember!!!!)

Sorry no can do, kids nowhere to go and it being a pub i would not be happy with it, no excuses just the way i am
BUT is their any chance of a meet where to meet at tatton park, currently a german xmas festival going on and perfect for family, things for kids to do and shopping for the ladies plus we'd get great shots of all attentee's golf's.
Spoke to a member on here called stuart i.e. the one who's mk1 i had for a short while with tt block conversion.
He has been recently and mentioned it would be a cracking place for all.
Just a thought, plus i have never been to tatton park and to go with other mk1's i would love it and missus and kids would enjoy also

Tatton park is ace. I usually goto the Classic car shows there whenever they are on I'll definatly be up for a trip there

Day out in Wales?

Tatton park i would like, During day and perferre a sat s it is only day i have to myself, sunday kids are playing rugby and thats doesnt finish till 1pm also depending on wether they play at home or away, so need sundays also.
Anyone else fancy this?
Also going to have to start meets within manchester area, as end up places wirral all the time, somewhere like Bury, Trafford etc would be good

no worries in the new year will be looking at some meets more Manchester way.

Mets need to be spread a little so any suggestions considered think we need a another big meet in the new year like the cat and Fiddle one but this time more of a plan and a cruise etc need to get heads together but this will be on a new thread in the near future

I don't understand where this came from, firstly because its not posted in the thread above, and secondly there's only ever been 1 meet on the Wirral!
