NW meet 14th July?

Is the meet still on for this thurs as I've noticed a few (kins) want it moving.

Hi Dj Ev really sorry to throw a spanner in the works. I feel that we need to change up a gear because the South West massive are catching up. If we do a double de clutch to a Sunday we will destroy them. Thusday clashes with my footy :cry: . You know you guys want to. You can see my new car! :wink:

Kins…I was giving this some thought today wondering why a weekend wasn't picked…and then I remembered, when i was looking around for a venue suitable to the majority of NW owners, Parbold seemed to be in the middle of all the posters from Warrington, Preston, Manchester and surrounding districts. The manager of the pub was happy to have us use the car park but NOT at weekend cause the venue is quite a tourist attraction being on top of a hill with views of Lancashire and out to sea. He told me that the Subaru crowd had Wednesdays so that left a Thursday as an option. As the time had been passing by the nettle was grasped firmly by Walt and we decided on the day. If we wanted to move to a weekend we would have to find another venue happy to have us.

My suggestion is if you want to move it to weekends then find us another venue central to those who have attended so far and we can move…personally it doesn't matter to me but having sorted the venue once I'm not doing it again. (I'm not being akward its just I don't have time at the moment).

Keep it Thursday this month and it will give time to sort another venue.

I think a lot of people have commitments at the weekend. It's easier for me to jet out for a couple of hours in an evening as am usually stuck into a job on the house at the weekend (!)  I know those who are married / have kids will probably struggle to obtain a 'weekend pass' too.
I don't think any 'perfect' day exists when it'll be best for everyone. One or two will always drop off for some reason or another.
I would be there as per. this Thurs, but I'll be in Italy instead !  Hope to see you at the next one though……..
