Notts/Derbys 3rd meet sunday 5th feb

3rd meeting for notts/ derby region. sunday 5th Feb 1.30pm at the White Hart nr calow chesterfield . everyone welcome,  not to far from j29 m1. i will try and get a map posted.
 from j29 m1  follow A617 toward chesterfield,
take first exit signed Bolsover Castle and turn right at junction,
about 3miles turn left at traffic lights/ t-junction,
White Hart is approx 1 mile on your right hand side.
shout up if you can make it ……………….

     helloooooooooooo…………………anybody out there? come on folks , put the turkey down, shake off the hangovers, it's 2006 showtime coming !!!!!! a good chance to swap/ source any bits you need. if you can make it say what you want or what your'e selling. or just turn up for a run out………………….so who's gonna be there ?

i'm going to the pub this thursday( purely research), landlord seems ok about mk1's and even said that in summer he would let us camp over the week-end ,like a mini mk1 fest. anyone interested shout up . at this rate i might even buy a round !!

This might be the closest meet for me (?) but I'm MK1-less for a few more weeks and can't make the 8th :cry:

might see you at another meet. if it works out i'm hoping it will be a good summer venue, possble camping and maybe live band.

Hopefully I should be be able to make this meet, got a couple more bits I want to do to the car before hand but I'll try my best!!

It seems my timing was ok in the end, I just needed to crank the engine a bit more. I've very glad I checked it about six times though!

great feeling when you manage to fix your car yourself !  just think money saved towards more mk1 bits .  see you sunday. any body got a camera ? i reckon we might not be the biggest region, just the best  :wink:

Sorry I didn't make it again! Severe hangover on Sunday! Woke up with a suprising amount of cash in my wallet though! Turns out I invested my last ?20 in the Gala casino in Nottingham and won ?50 at the blackjack table!
