North Yorks meet, anyone help?

Hi there, I have a just had a call from an old boy who is after a meet in the Skipton region or North Yorks in general. He is a Triumph man but is quite taken with Golf Cabby Mk1 and was hoping to go to a meet for a chat and general advice, I dont have any details of regional meets in the area, can anyone help?

I would be happy to go to a meet in skipton. If it was organised. Its not too far for me

Have you got a number I can direct this chap to as he is keen to meet with a Mk1 Cabby owner in the area to discus the car and if it would suit him, hes only an old boy and just needs some advice. Ta

we had a meet in skipton late august. not sure if there will be another in skipton soon. a couple of cabbys there too.  pm littlerolf she is yorkshires meet organiser she will be able to tell when the next meet will be. and she also runs a cabby. where does the interested man live?

Sorry looks like I should have explained better, I am not trying to set up a meet, I am just looking for someone who can help a reader out in the Skipton area with advice about Mk1 softtops as he has no access to the internet, (being a little on the old side )
