New scotland meets

I am looking to start local meets in scotland on behalf of this club as there is currently none. I was wondering if i could get feed back on wat people think of this idea.

i think it is an absolute beauty of an idea mate.  There are a few of us up here in Scotland and I personally would love to meet up with other mk1 nuts.  

I'm picking my first mk1 up on Saturday (fingers crossed) and would love a meet to attend in Scotland.

Hi mate i would be up for it, soemwhere central would attract more people. Might be an idea to meet up at one of the up comming shows

Maybe Volksfling on 26th -28th May at the Agricultural Showgound in Biggar.

X5 PEA, where abouts in Glasgow do you stay? You don't own that blue golf mk1 gl do you?

I am staying in halls near Maryhill, but sadly my mk1 will be living in my garage in Edinburgh. (insurance says so)

Sadly my car wont be about for a while got alot of work to do, however im up for meeting up be in the X5 tho!

So then.  With Scotland's first ever 'VW Golf Mk1 Owner's Club' meet due for this Saturday, attendance is vital!

Give a shout on this thread if you are up for coming.

I know that Eddie (our team leader) and X5PEA are up for coming but can not bring their projects along yet.  Any other interest parties?!

If you are keen on getting some nice mk1's to come along, may be worth a shout on the EastSideVW site.

Think those guys are all based in or around Aberdeen and I've personally seen two of their mk1's - Helious campaign - mars red tuned beast - both lovely.

Might gain more interest in this site from NE Scotland peeps as well.

Hi.
Was at Star all day yesterday, spotted a very nicy Mk1 in white but didn't see the owner. I had the Fabia being polished inside and couldn't bring the MK1. We need to think up a central meet for sometime soon.

Are there plans for any more Scotland meets soon?
