New regional Host for Kent and Sussex

It is will great pleasure the Club welcomes Steve_Matthews as the New Regional Host for Kent and Sussex Steve is one of the countries leading authorities on small block engines what he doesn't know isn't worth knowing.
Steve is taking over the Regional Host reins from Drew.
Drew as many know was one of the founders of the club and one of the most respected figures on the Mk1 scene and I on behalf of the committee and club members I would like to thank Drew for all his past hard work and the meets he has organised for this region in the past :clap:

I know Steve is very keen to get things going so look out for up and coming meets and events in this region, so please support his efforts in making Kent and Sussex one of the best regions in the club (after the North West region that is) :wink:

about 2 months ago found myself a nice barn conversion and loads of country roads ive even been to a vagingit meet and met mr collo16v :wink:

Meet wise where are you guys thinking?

    If it helps at all i currently host a German only car event at Brands Hatch on the last wednesday of evert month and i would be only to happy to help out and reserve a prime plot every month for the specific use of the Mk1GOC
If wanted.  To launch this addition to we can park up to 2 mk1's in the Bar to promote the new attraction each month. sound good?

Also track days and karting can be organised for clubs to.

I go to the Brands Hatch meet (Prept) and its a real good meet, lots of people every month, just wish my car was up and running and i had a license, so i wouldn't have to right with my mate.
Good meet though and would be awesome to get a load of mk1's down there, i shall be there in the mk1 when i can.

Might be worth PMing grundeisdead? I believe he bought some bits off him, got thoroughly ripped off, posted a message on here but it got deleted or something? And Steve basically kept his head down.

mght see steve later he spends most his time on the vagingit forum ill see if hes at tonights meet

So the meeting at Brands is this Wednesday ! Sounds a good social who is going off here..

What times it all kick off then will be going in a green mk3 golf .
