mk1 golf annual gathering from scotland.

I'm dying to go to combe abbey for this years annual gathering, i was wondering if there was anyone from north of the border (im in edinburgh) making the journey down?
was hoping to join a convoy as ive never driven that far.

if i can get my 5 speed box shimmied in by then i would be interested in a convoy wouldnt fancy that journey in the mk1 on ma own 8)  

it will be worth the trip down…

tested the water with this idea a couple of weeks ago. wee convoy to combe abbey? decided my first loves mk1 golfs so im selling my T in the park ticket to try and get my car sorted by the 25th and 26th. was wondering if any1 still fancied it or if there was a convoy i could join??
