Milton Keynes Tues 4th October -Winter or Summer location??

We know this is the best Regional MK1OC meet. Lets keep it that way.

Confirmed by the Chairman at last years AGM that we are the best regional meet in the country
 
What does 2011 Milton Keynes Region have to offer. Curry night, Rolling Road, Treasure Hunt, Show & Shine, and representing the club on National and Local shows throughout the year.

Q. Where do i park?
A. In the car park next to the other Mk1`s (first left as you go in)

Q. What if my Mk1 isnt on the road just yet?
A. Come along anyway, there is a great source of knowledge and a local member may have spare parts
 
Q. Will my car be photographed and put on this fantastic website?
A. Yes, Spudfingers will have is camera ready for snaps. You may even be videoed and up on You Tube
 
Note.. Please add to the thread if you need contact with Spudfingers as he is responsible for 70% of the posts on this thread

I am stupid and easily confused by the title, is this the summer or winter meet location, it must be dark by 7.30 now?

Oh and I don't have my Mk1 yet so will stuff be thrown at me?

Chelle is asking if it is at the pub or IKEA carpark I think bud so majority rules  :dontknow: .  IKEA is in artificial light all night but no beer, the pub is no light but does sell beer.

But yes Spud is right - majority rules - im always game for the pub - but then again i do have a problem……… ( i am opening myself up here for many comments i am sure) x

i hope to make it along one day! STILL waiting for my charger to arrive! getting a bit impatient now.
i would love a little convoy. i think i managed to come along just the once this time last year.

Just found time to log on and I was going to sort the October thread out but luckily Chelle to the rescue.

Must admit the pub has been better recently and we have been able to get seated inside, although my vote would be ikea until march

Difficult one to call mate I'd probably vote for ikea too but Xmas meet in pub for knickerbocker glory challenge and secret Santa?

Not to selfish but if we meet at the pub i will not be able to look at your motors and ask stupid questions, also throwing stuff at me is going to be a lot more difficult in the dark

i know this is in the wrong place but as the meet is so close….
i'm selling used, slightly worn momo steering wheel with mk1 boss if anyone is interested before i stick it up on ebay (~£40). see interiors sale thread.

will bring it with me to meet anyway. i bought it and never fitted it.

I am going to aim to get to this one! Just need to try and sort my cooling issue.

I popped in once possibly last year? and enjoyed it, so now I have a bit more spare time I will try and become a recular.
