We had a good turnout last meet despite the cold weather.

We know this is the best Regional MK1OC meet. Lets keep it that way.

What does 2010 Milton Keynes Region have to offer. Curry night, Rolling Road, Treasure Hunt, Show & Shine, and representing the club on National and Local shows throughout the year.

Q.Do i eat at the venue?
A.If you like meatballs

Q. Can i buy flatpack furniture?
A. Yes but hide it from spud.

Q. Where do i park?
A. In the car park next to the other Mk1`s (floodlit under cover part)

Q. What if my Mk1 isnt on the road just yet?
A. Come along anyway, there is a great source of knowledge and a local member may have spare parts

Q. Will my car be photographed and put on this fantastic website?
A. Yes, Spudfingers will have is camera ready for snaps. You may even be videoed and up on You Tube

Note.. Please add to the thread if you need contact with Spudfingers as he is responsible for 70% of the posts on this thread

Defo add me and Alaine to the curry night Ant!!!  That'll be a right laugh.  Also add me to the June thinger-me-bob   …. that's if any of my transport works or I'll need to hop in with Zambo…. I'd rather go in my own car though… he looks at me funny when no one is around you know  8O !!!

I think somethings fallen off inside the rear passanger brake drum of "The mean, green Spudwok Machine".  Also need to sort out the alarm.  Need to fix that before March meet (otherwise it's jumping in Zambo's "lean, clean hairdressing machine") lol !!!  Don't want to miss this beauty!!!  

I got another hoody from Volksdepot.. well chuffed … Alan are you sticking the kettle on again bud?  I'll bring tea, coffee, hot choc etc.

Time for more video me thinks at this one seeing as Zambo-Speilberg is back from his ladyboy holiday and I'm back from decorating !!!

i will be at the march meet to only not 1005 sure the caddy will be- in my never ending quest for more power, the head is currently in hundreds and thousands of pieces- not sure whats going on so dont ask, all i know is that the MOT is due on the 21st and its currently missing half an engine and a horn!!! :cry:  too much work- why did i puull it all apart!!  love it :mrgreen:

LOL "why did I pull it apart"… that's what I said when rebuilding the sliver campaign's engine… just wait until the good bit… you'll put all those bits together and still have three or four bits in your hand with nowhere to put them  :roll:

I dropped the spudwok round at the old mans last night so we could take some clear pics of the front of the house.  Got a phone call this afternoon… "Hi son, I've fixed your wheel bearing, alarm and bonnet catch.. oh and charged your battery… you owe me £11 for the bearing". 8O  8O  8O … Turns out my dad wanted to move it and ended up fixing the whole lot… then took it for a spin to check out his fix… he loves it as much as I do!!!  SPUDWOK LIVES!!!

Lets try and get loads of the mk1's to March's meet… fair bit of time left to get Gruber, philldis cabby, catscene and nickl's caddy ready

SEE PEOPLE!!!!  I've been telling you this for months when I've been in my vectra… simmo88 knows what their talking about  :wink:

Have you been to the MK meet before simmo?  I'll be in a hoody getting ripped for being short and probably clinging to a mug of tea so introduce yourself and I'll introduce you the the rest of the Brady Bunch  

If you see a tubby guy filming you don't call the police… it's Zambo… it's his way of "being freindly"… at least that's what he told the judge last time    :roll:

with a bit of luck after some hard graft I'm hoping my Mk1 will finally make a return to the black stuff in a couple of weeks

so, as this is the next available meet and would be a good run for the car.. I'll pop up for the meet

that is, if the Berkshire guys don't get upset with me  :wink:

Inter-regional visits are a brillinat idea mate it's been proposed at our meet too… why get upset… it's good for convoys and mk1 community spirit…. I'm just chuffed you've picked our meet to visit   .  From the looks of your avatar you've been seriously busy!!  Looking forward to meeting you and seeing what you've done so yeah… come along  :wink:

Phill it would be good to see you, It must be over a year, Your more than welcome  

For those who dont know Phill he has been on the mk1 scene for many years on his second rebuild (of the same car) he has helped build the club to what it is today….. I think thats fair to say

i'm lazy and can't be bothered to look for curry night date on the other thread when is it?

i dunno if i/we can afford to go to it yet as OH is still redundant and me not got lot of money now :"(  he's got interview tmorns morn so fingers crossed golf-chums.  put us down as a possible *i wants curry!! wail!!!*

if he gets it it will be a triple bonus, not only will he only work 20 miles away from home (banbury) so he will get to keep his S2k and not have to by a diesel luxury barge (audi a4), but he will get paid more than his last job, he will also have the opportunity to advance and get training (somethign his last job offered but never materialised in the 8 YEARS he worked there).

Lol spud, it's all about keeping the peace- if I rock the boat too far I dare say the caddy would be a forced sale for a house deposit- and at the mo I'm fighting that from all corners- it'll never get sold!!! :mrgreen:
