Midlands Monthly meet **Wednesday 21st April**

Time flies, light nights are rolling out nicely, weather is getting warmer and it's nearly time for this months meet & eat  :wink:   


Wednesday 21st April 2010 is the date for the West Mids monthly intake of Dubs and a wholesome selection of quality food from McD's 99p menu   

Meeting at

Toys R Us
Oldbury
Junction 2 of the M5

7.30pm till about 9.30pm, the meet is held alongside Old Skool Dropouts and should be a good selection of Mk1's and all things VW

Dear oh dear, no takers  :redfaced: …….  I'm gonna  drive down the Rabbit run and see if classic car meet is on at Swindon

Tis the only time the wife evers sees me in a good light, when her car needs fixing  :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:

Had a run down to The Greyhound at Swindon, got there for 7.30pm unfortunately the car park was empty, so I assume their next meet will be next Wednesday…..if I'm not busy I'll pop down again.

Had a good run back, had some fun with a Mini, kept leaving him at the junctions and roundabout……..then let him catch up, he seriously tried to go for an overtake as we came out of the roundabout where the you cross over the Bridgnorth/Wolverhampton road  :lmao:  :lmao: , needless to say he didn't see me again until The Folly pub :punk:

 got home from work,didnt see this post but knew it was on.
About 10 mk1's,loads of mk3/4's and a caddy….

Good to meet the mk2 owner(who had owned a few caddys)  from Droitwich and also the lad from Walsall who turned up as i was leaving(very nice red mk1 too)   club calling cards left with you both :wink:  :wink:

Probably would have gone tonight but been down the smoke today and didn't get back till late. At least the weather was good for you!

Good to meet but still alittle cold - roll on the summer  !
