Meet in scotland

hey you guys and girls, im in scotland and think its about time we had a vw meet somwhere, edinburgh,dundee,stirling,glasgow i dont care although better central scotland, but think there should be atleast one meet.  In the perfect world there should be one every month like the first monday of every month open to all vw owners

has anyone got anymore ideas.

Im up for this defo, i go to the scottish VAG meets once of twice a month so aslong as its not the same night.

Supose the location would depend on who is up for starting it, in Hamilton (South Lanarkshire) near Glagsow.

im fron the st andrews and could probably drag maybe two other vag cars, one mk2 and a seat ibiza and my mk1 if i get the 16v conversion finished.  pass the word around and if there is enough interest then we will pick a date and location.

when is and where is the vag meets or is it a members only thing

I have tried a few times to get a meet going for mk1s. It really is too hard to do, but I am going to look into getting a stand at some of the major shows next year.

As for Scottish VAG, see www.scottishvag.com.   This is a good enthusiasts site, and is open to all. (you dont have to be a member) They have meets once a month in loads of locations around Scotland.

Never made it to the last 2, will be at the next one. I saw a post on svag mentioning a nice mk1,  8O  had me thinking who the h3ll was that

I would be up for that.
